Tracey L. Kohnen

Tracey L. Kohnen, age 58, of rural Celina, passed away at her residence at 3:00 AM, Friday, August 5, 2022.  

Born March 19, 1964, in Van Wert, she was a daughter of the late Tom Taylor and Barbara (Killin) Shinaberry, who survives in Van Wert.

Tracey and Timothy "Buck"  Kohnen were married on July 19, 2019, and he preceded her in death October 14, 2019.

Tracey leaves behind her children: Taylor Lautzenheiser and Ryan (Brittany) Lautzenheiser, Tim's children: Corey (Nicole) Kohnen, Jonathon Kohnen (Krystal Callison), Wesley (Laura) Kohnen, and Lindsey (Josh) Fullenkamp, and 11 grandchildren: Luke, Alayna, CJ, Landon, Morgan, Josie, Jace, Kai, Bri, Josh and Lilly.

Also surviving is her sister, Dawn Taylor (Joe Hernandez), and sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Karen (Kirk) Habegger, Marilyn Reser, Patricia (Tom) McDermitt, and Ron Kohnen.

She was preceded in death by her father, parents-in-law: Norbert & Mary Evelyn (Meier) Kohnen, and a sister-in-law, Karen Kohnen.

A graduate of Van Wert High School, Tracey held degrees in Accounting and Medical Assisting from Rhodes State College in Lima. 

Tracey had been an office worker, but her most important role was providing a loving home and meals for her family. 

A favorite pastime for Tracey was horseback riding.

A Celebration of Tracey's Life will be held at a later time.
