Timothy Charles "Buck" Kohnen, age 61, of Celina, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, in the Emergency Department at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born August 27, 1958, in Celina, to the late Norbert J. & Mary Evelyn (Meier) Kohnen.
Tim and Tracy (Taylor) Lautzenheiser were married on July 19, 2019. She survives, along with children: Corey Lee Kohnen of San Clemente, CA, Jonathon Ray Kohnen of Celina, Wesley Eugene Kohnen of Rockford, Lindsey Nicole Fullenkamp, Taylor Lynn Lautzenheiser, and Ryan James Lautzenheiser, all of Celina.
Also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Karen (Kirk) Habegger of Decatur, Indiana, Marilyn Reser of Lima, Patricia (Tom) McDermitt and Ronald Kohnen of Celina, and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Karen Kohnen.
Tim was a graduate of Vantage Vocational School. He worked as a machinist at Elmco in Van Wert, and was also a farmer.
He was a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge #1291 in Celina.
Tim greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he loved horses.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina. Pastor Mick Whistler will officiate.
Calling Hours are 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, and 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the Funeral Home.
