Thelma Bowen Gage

Thelma B. Gage, age 94, of Celina, passed away at her residence on March 16, 2012.

Born July 26, 1917 in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Frank & Mabel (Rummel) Bowen.

She married Keith Gage on November 26, 1943, and he died April 13, 2001.

Surviving Thelma are her children:
Phil (Ann) Gage of Celina, Stan (Sylvia) Gage of Cutler, Allen (Adele) Gage of Orange, CA and Nan (Doug) Hill of Macon, GA, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Also preceding Thelma in death were two brothers, Donald and Gayle Bowen and a sister, Iris Stevick.

A graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a degree in dietetics, Thelma had worked as a dietician in various hospitals early in her marriage. She was a stay at home mother and volunteered in many roles.

Thelma was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina.
She enjoyed gardening and butterflies and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with the family and attending her grandchildren's activities.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. on Monday, March 19th, with funeral services following at 4:00 P.M.

Burial will be Tuesday, March 20th at Bartlett Cemetery in Washington County, Ohio.
