Teresa "Mona" Bailey

Teresa "Mona" Evans Bailey, age 43, of Montezuma, passed away at her sister's residence in New Weston on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

Born October 15, 1969 in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of the late Jack and Macie (Varney) Evans.

Mona was married to Brock Bailey on December 1, 2004, and he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Betsy Evans of New Weston, a brother, Jack (Diane) Evans of Celina and three sisters: Johnna (Edwin) Garland of New Weston, Cindy (Steve) Harner of Rockford, and Jodie Lawson of Vandalia. Two Step-brothers, David and Vince Ireland, also survive.

Mona was a "Super Aunt" to several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her Parents and Mother-in-Law, Deb Brown.

A Homemaker, Mona loved kids and often babysat. She enjoyed all types of music.

Mona loved cats, particularly "Adam" and her sister's dog, "Meka".

While residing in Montezuma, Mona attended the Montezuma United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the Ft. Recovery Church of the Nazarene from 10-11 A.M. on Friday, July 12th. Services will begin at 11 A.M. at the church, with the Rev. Verl Ballmer and Rev. Dennis Kelley officiating.

Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Ft. Recovery.

Following rites at the cemetery, friends and family are invited to a meal and time of fellowship in the Nazarene Church Family Center.

In memory of Mona, contributions may be made to the Ft. Recovery Nazarene Youth Group.
