Shelva Etgen, age 81, of Celina, passed away Saturday evening, January 18, 2020, at Celina Manor.
She was born June 13, 1938, in St. Sebastian, to the late Albert & Florentine (Link) Niekamp.
Shelva is survived by her partner of many years, Bob Ritchie of Celina, a son, Brent (Linda) Unger of Sebring, Florida, daughter, Kim (Jeff) Everman of Celina, four grandsons: Kyle Everman, Brock Willrath, Craig Everman, and Tyler Everman, five great grandchildren, and her step-children.
Also surviving are a sister and two brothers: Joyce (Ron) Deger, Darrel (Connie) Niekamp, and Barry (Linda) Niekamp, and a son-in-law, Bruce Willrath.
Shelva was preceded in death by a daughter, Babette Willrath.
She was a graduate of Marion Local High School in Maria Stein, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Celina VFW Post #5713.
An avid crafter, Shelva enjoyed painting, ceramics, and collecting and restoring vintage dolls.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, January 23, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Randy Christian, officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling Hours are from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Thursday, at the Funeral Home in Celina.
