Sandra Vornholt

 Sandra J. Vornholt, age 74, of New Knoxville, passed away April 28, 2026, at Vancrest of St. Marys.  God took her in His arms following a short illness.

She was born on July 9, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Richard V. and Jenna M. (Smith) Wagner, who both preceded her in death.

Sandy and Jan Vornholt were married in 1985, and he survives, along with a son, Jonathan Vornholt of St. Marys, her sister, Karen (Herb) Black Sr. of Celina, brother-in-law, Van Vornholt of Celina, and sister-in-law, Amy (Richard) Price of Michigan, as well as nephews: Herbert Jr. (Kathy) Black of Coldwater and Michael (April) Black of Celina, and several other nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Wagner, and sister-in-law, Judy Vornholt.   

Sandy grew-up near Trinity, Indiana, and was a 1970 graduate of Celina High School.   

She had worked at Huffy's in Celina, Goodyear in St. Marys, and the Budget Host Inn in Botkins.

Years ago, she had enjoyed traveling, and took some memorable trips with her family. 

Sandy liked cats and playing Yahtzee.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held for Sandy at a later date.
