Rose M. Poppe, age 71, of Celina, passed away Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
Born October 9, 1948, in Wapakoneta, Rose was a daughter of the late Donald & Lillian Donovan Ellis.
She was previously married to Leo Noggler, who is deceased.
Rose is survived by 5 children: Daniel (Teresa) Noggler of South Boston, Virginia, Donald Noggler and Tracy Noggler (Kevin McDowell) of Celina, Lillie Nusbaum of Fort Wayne, and Janice (Danny) Fetters of Celina, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 brothers & sisters: Gary, Donald, Terri, Janice, and Billy.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Sandra Jo Noggler, and a grandson, Jacob Noggler.
She had worked as a Nurse's Aide at Shane Hill and Colonial Nursing Homes, both in Rockford.
Rose enjoyed watching movies and collecting DVD’s. She loved spoiling her cat, Lucifur.
Celebration of Life Services will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Burial will be at a later date at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial Contributions can be made to The Cancer Association of Mercer County or The Humane Society.
