Robert H. Vantilburg

Robert H. Vantilburg, age 74, of Celina passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at his Celina residence.

He was born in Celina on April 23, 1937 to the late Kenneth and Waunita (Woods) Vantilburg.

On April 11, 1959 he married Rosemarie Schwinn who survives along with three sons: Harry (Margie), Robert (Julie) and Terry Vantilburg, all of Celina, 6 Grandchildren, three Great-Grandchildren and a Brother: Kenny (Idamae) Vantilburg of Ft. Recovery.

Robert attended Celina High School and served in the U.S. Army in Germany, where he and Rosemarie met.

He worked at the former Mersman Table Factory in Celina and then retired from Goodyear in St. Marys after 30 years of service.

Robert was a member of the St. Marys V.F.W. Post #9289. He loved the outdoors. His interests were horseback and Harley Davidson riding as well as gardening and mowing his lawn.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 6 at W.H.Dick and Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Kevin Neumann officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Friends may call from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5 and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the Funeral Home.
