Richard A. Frosdick, Age 84, of Celina,
passed away February 7, 2013 at the
St. Marys Living Center in St. Marys, Ohio.
Born May 19, 1928 in Oakfield, New York, the son of Harold & Edith (Andrews) Frosdick.
He married Patricia (Sullivan) Lentz on May 24, 1986 and she survives.
Also surviving are his 3 Children:
Susan (Tyagan) Moke-Miller of Bloomington, Indiana,
Kim (Randy) Ross of Chesterfield, Michigan and Amy Frosdick of Columbus, 3 Step-Children: James (Sandy) Lentz of Mendon
and David Lentz and Joyce (Marc) Zizelman, both of Celina,
A Step-Sister: Linda Fulwider of Tennessee,
11 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and a Nephew.
He owned and operated the AAA Awning Co. of St. Marys,
retiring due to ill health.
He had attended Port Clinton, Ohio High School,
the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York
and Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina.
Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran, enlisting in 1945
and serving until 1947 in the European Theatre.
A Life Member of American Legion Post #323
and V.F.W. Post #9289 in St. Marys, he had served as
the V.F.W. Post Commander, receiving the All-State
Team Post Commander Award for 2002-2003.
Funeral Services are 3:00 P.M., Sunday, February 17
at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina,
with Pastor Jonathan Exman officiating.
Calling Hours will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of Services on Sunday.
Military Rites will be held by St. Marys V.F.W. Post 9289 and American Legion Post 323.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
