Patricia Derossett Crutchfield

Patricia "Patti" Derossett Crutchfield, age 72, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Mendon, on Friday, November 15, 2024.

She was born February 25, 1952, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.  Her parents: Tobbie & Delores (Hicks) Derossett, preceded her in death. 

Patti is survived by her son, Aaron Jay (Kim) Wright of Lima and granddaughters: Molly and Katie, her brother and sister: Doug (Vicki) Derossett and Pam (Gary) Trisel of Mendon, and brother-in-law, Davey Bass of Nixon, Texas.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy VanGundy Bass, who passed away August 22, 2024, and grandparents: Clell & Nancy Derossett and Ed & Naomi Hicks.

Patti was a 1970 graduate of Mendon-Union High School.  She had worked at the Huffy Bicycle Plant, and retired from Reynolds+Reynolds.  Patti was a volunteer at OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital.  She liked to read, and Patti had enjoyed attending concerts when she was younger.  

Calling Hours will be held at the MENDON FIRST CHURCH OF GOD, on Thursday, November 21, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service to follow, starting at 2:00.  Pastor Jake Boroff will officiate.      

Burial will take place at Mendon Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
