Nancy Ruth Hendricks

Nancy Ruth Hendricks, age 71, of Celina, passed away at her residence on October 22, 2012.

Born on June 26, 1941 in St. Marys, she was the daughter of the late Alma Christina (Lehman) and James Smith Casperson.

Nancy married Louie Hendricks Sr. on July 14, 1961 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1990.

Surviving Nancy are a son: Louie (Lori) Hendricks of Tennessee and three daughters: Lucille Hendricks, Lou Ann Mullholand and Lisa (Rick) Crouch, all of Celina. Nancy was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters: Kate Yaney of Celina and Gloria Mason of Marion, OH and two step-brothers: Jim and Tony Spicer of Celina.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Christina Eileen Casperson and two sisters: Betty Grace and Mary Maregam.

As a child, Nancy attended Bunker Hill School in St. Marys. She was employed for 11 years at Celina Manor Nursing Home as a State Tested Nursing Assistant and also had been a daycare provider.

She was a member of the Celina Eagles and her hobbies were crocheting and assembling jigsaw puzzles. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 25th from 12-2:00 PM. Services will begin at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Cliff Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
