Michael Baker

Michael Baker, age 75, of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at his residence.

He was born January 4, 1948, in Celina, to the late James Newton Baker and Avenell (Vorhees) Baker.

On March 12, 1999, he was united in marriage with Debra (Mohler) Baker, who survives in Celina.

Mike is also survived by his son, Mikie Jr., a stepson, Ronald (Brie) Schriver of Latty, and stepdaughter, Tera (Shane) Lovelace of Van Wert, a brother, John Baker of Indianapolis, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Baker.

Mike worked in telecommunications for many years, and later retired from Ferrellgas.   He was a member of VFW Post #5713 and Eagles Lodge #1291, Celina.  Favorite activities for Mike were woodworking, enjoying a Busch Light, fishing, and guns.

Private family services are planned.  A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.     

Preferred memorials may be donated to Grand Lake Hospice, St. Marys.
