Mary Kay Purdy, age 73, of Fort Wayne, IN, ( Formerly of Coldwater ) passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her residence.
She was born August 18, 1945 in Celina, to the late Fred Hullinger and Bessie Pearl ( Fett ) Hullinger.
Mary Kay and Jerald A. “Jerry” Purdy were married on June 24, 1967, and he survives.
Mary Kay leaves behind two daughters, Sarah Ambrose and Jennifer (Kraig) Tobin and four grandchildren, Dora Ambrose, Nathan Ambrose, Isabel Tobin and Michael Tobin, all of Fort Wayne.
Also surviving is a sister, Patricia (Doyle) Wheeler of Amarillo, TX and a sister-in-law, Pat Hullinger of St. Paris.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister: Frank "Chuck" (Mary Ann) Hullinger, Fred (Edna) Hullinger Jr., Dick (Louise) Hullinger, Carol (Joe) Bill, and James Hullinger.
Mary Kay retired as the Owner and Operator of Mercer County Awards and Bargain Hunter Printing, of Coldwater.
A 1963 Graduate of Celina High School, Mary Kay enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, gardening and crocheting. She attended Grace Point Church in Fort Wayne.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 11th, at Grace Missionary Church in Celina, with Pastor Steve Howell officiating.
Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Calling Hours are from 4 - 8:00 PM, Monday, December 10th, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday, at the church.
