Marjorie Tidwell Obituary

Marjorie L. Tidwell, 68, of 608 North Main Street, New Bremen, died at 11:50 AM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

Born in Celina on September 14, 1942, Margie was the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Hill) Hole.

On October 30, 1971, she married Norman "Bud" Tidwell, who survives.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Robert (April) Tidwell of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Brian (Mandy)
Tidwell of Huntsville, OH and four
grandchildren, Madison, Evan, Tyler and Claire.

Four siblings survive: Marie (Kenny) Laux of Celina, Mary Alice (Ken) Reid of West Palm Beach, FL,
Frank (Barbara) Hole of Ft. Wayne, IN and Dave (Deb) Hole of Celina.
Sisters-in-law Brenda (Harry) Mason and Melba Copeland of Sidney, Carolyn Deal of Kansas and Wanda Hole of St. Marys also survive.

Four brothers preceded Marjorie in death, Robert, Merrill, Lloyd and Dennis, and a sister Althea Staugler.

Marjorie was a 1960 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She was a homemaker and had been employed in the claims department at Celina Insurance Group.

A dedicated homemaker, Marjorie enjoyed her immediate and extended family to the fullest and she supported her husband's business interests. Her hobbies included spoiling her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed keeping up on current events, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, and excursions to the gulf coast and riverboat casinos.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM, Thursday, May 5th at W.H. Dick and Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6th at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dawn Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
