Luella M. Coil, age 84, of Montezuma, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born March 29, 1935, in Celina, the only child of George & Lura (Jeffries) Whitesell.
Luella married Dane S. Coil on December 25, 1983, and he survives, along with Luella's three daughters: Karin (Pete) DeLaurentis of Columbus, Barbara Peggs of Montezuma, and Laurie (Larry) Feltz of Maria Stein, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Rita Bigelow of Celina, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob & Velma Donnerberg of Celina, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Holli Enderud and Diane Moeller of St. Marys, Troy Donnerberg and Daria Harris of Dayton, and Tyrone Donnerberg of Celina.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Douglas Bigelow, and a sister-in-law, Donita Coil.
A 1953 graduate of Celina High School, Luella retired from the Huffy Bicycle Plant after many years of service.
Favorite pastimes for Luella were cooking, gardening and canning. She enjoyed various crafts, and adult coloring books.
Other interests were fishing, bowling, and playing cards. She and Dane enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2nd, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Kathy Correll, officiating.
Calling Hours are from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 2nd, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
