Louise A. Hinders, age 80, of Celina, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at her residence.
Born on August 2, 1932 in Celina, the daughter of the late Homer J. and Emma Louise (Pax) Hinders.
Louise is survived by four Brothers and Sisters: Urban (Doris) Hinders of Kettering, Fr. Joe Hinders of Columbus, Mary Rutledge of Englewood and Marita (Gene) Pitstick of Akron, a Sister-in-law, Virginia Hinders of Celina, and many Nieces and Nephews. Preceding her death was a Brother, John Hinders.
A 1950 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Louise received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from The University of St. Francis in Ft. Wayne and obtained a Master's in Education Degree from the University of Dayton. She retired after 30 years of teaching in the Dayton Public School System.
Louise was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina and the Altar-Rosary Society. She was a member of the Ladies Quilting group at the church and a frequent volunteer at the church and in the school cafeteria.
She was very interested in politics, enjoyed classical music and photography, and following her nieces' and nephews' activities and sports.
Louise was a very caring person with a very charitable and generous spirit. A nature lover, she enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 23 at Immaculate Conception Church, with Fr. Ken Schnipke and Fr. Joe Hinders concelebrating.
A Committal Service will be held at St. Marys Cemetery in Celina, following the Mass. There will be No Visitation.
