Larry D. Krogman

Larry D. Krogman, "Frog", age 67, of rural Mendon, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Joint District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

Larry was born on August 31, 1943 in Lima, Ohio to Glenn and Margaret (Sawmiller) Krogman. His father is deceased. His mother survives in Mendon. Larry married Linda (Sexauer) on August 27, 1967 and she survives in Mendon. Also surviving are two sons, Terry Krogman and David (Marcia) Krogman and a granddaughter, all of Mendon.
A brother, Jerry Krogman survives in St. Marys.

Larry was a 1961 graduate of Mendon Union High School. After 30 years of service, Larry retired from Goodyear in St. Marys.

Larry attended Mendon United Methodist Church. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6772 in Spencerville
and the St. Marys Eagles #767, and the Shane's Masonic Lodge #377 in Rockford. An avid motorcyclist, Larry was a member of the Van Wert Area Cushman's Club and the Mendon Porch Dogs Club.

Visitation hours were Sunday January 30 from 1 - 6 P.M.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 31, 2011 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, Rev. Don Clinger officiated. Burial was at Mendon Cemetery with a cannon salute by
his motorcycle club.
