Kenneth Ray Dennis

Kenneth Ray Dennis, 76, of Celina, passed away February 15, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Kenny was loved by everyone who met him. Kenny was a longtime member of the Eagles. He enjoyed bowling with his friends. He was fun-loving and generous.  Kenny also enjoyed gambling, rolling down the highway in his 18-wheeler, and hanging out with family and friends. 

Kenny is survived by his sister, Mona (Larry) Shinabery, Celina; his children: Jen Dennis, St. Marys, Joni (Kyle) Minnich, Celina, Charles (Tiffany Alderton) Dennis, Celina, Mattie Dennis, St. Marys, Michelle Trombley, Roeland Park, Kansas, Kendra (Dan) Boggs, Mansfield, and Kenneth (Cydnie) Dennis II and Jenny Lou Kinney (Tyler Winhoven), both of Celina, 31 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Gillis "Whitey" and Edna Dennis, daughters: Mary Lentz and Angel Dennis, and sisters: Gilda Trobridge and Carolyn Zizelman.

Calling Hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Saturday, February 17th, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. followed by the Funeral Service, starting at 2:00.

Burial will take place at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dennis family.

On March 10, 2024, the Dennis Family will be having a Celebration of Life dinner for Kenny at VFW Post #5713 in Celina, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Please come and celebrate the life and love of Kenny Dennis.  All are welcome.
