Kathy A. Stamper, age 65, of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the Emergency Department at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born December 26, 1956, in Xenia, a daughter of the late William and Janet (Burton) Gerlaugh.
On June 4, 1983, she married Donald R. Stamper, and he survives.
Also surviving are three children: Angela Reis of Celina, Billie Jo Lubuzinski of Savannah, Georgia, and Michael Stamper (Yuki Okura) of West Chester, eight grandchildren: Hannah Arvin, Jacob Arvin, Kynzlie Reis, Phillip Stamper, Lilliah Stamper, Lexie Stamper, Blake Lubuzinski, and Blaine Stamper, one great grandchild on the way, and Kathy's sister, Becky Jolley, who survives in Florida.
Preceding her in death were a sister and brother: Diane Stevens and William Gerlaugh.
Kathy attended school in Xenia. While living in the Cincinnati area, she had worked as a store manager and part-time area manager for United Dairy Farmers (UDF).
An antique lover, Kathy collected all types of vintage treasures. She was an amazing cook and baker, some of her specialties were banana bread, and sugar and chocolate chip cookies.
She enjoyed taking care of people and being a grandma.
A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 13th, at the Southside Restaurant, 490 S. Second Street in Coldwater.
