Joyce Darlene Derossett

Joyce Darlene "Grandma" Derossett, age 78, of Mendon, died Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Born September 21, 1933 in Ohio City to the late Ella K. Davis and Ernest Clouse.

Joyce & Talbie Derossett were married July 17, 1971 and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2004.

Surviving are 2 Children: Jack (Sherry) Clouse of Kenai, Alaska and Jill Mast of Mendon, 4 Grandchildren: Sherié (James) LaRue, Robert (Amanda) Clouse,
Katrina (Sanel) Babic' and Kari Mast, and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were 2 Brothers and a Sister: Albert "Buck" Davis, Carl Davis and Ruby Snyder.

She was a Homemaker, and had retired from Huffy Bicycles in Celina with more than 30 years of service. A Graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School, attended Mendon United Methodist Church and a member of the St. Mary's Eagles Lodge and Spencerville V.F.W.

Joyce enjoyed shopping and crocheting, and was an excellent cook. She loved to work outdoors, especially gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 21 at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon. Rev. Don Clinger will officiate. Burial will be at Mendon Cemetery.

Calling Hours are 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 20
and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
