Jody Heppeard Hughes

Jody M. Heppeard Hughes, age 47, of Celina, passed away at 4:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2012 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, following a long battle with cancer.

Born on December 18, 1964 in Celina, Jody was the daughter of Mary Heppeard Massengill, who survives.

Jody was married to Bill R. Hughes and he survives in Celina. She was the mother of two daughters: Kaylea (Tim) Beougher of Celina and Sherri Kupper of Wapakoneta and three sons: Richard Kupper of Wapakoneta, William Brown of Celina and Randy (Tara) Hughes of Washington.

Five grandchildren, two brothers: Robert Colson of Arizona and Lester Colson of Celina and a sister, Tina Block Howard of Celina also survive.

Jody had been a daycare provider in Celina for several years and had previously worked in sales at a car dealership in Missouri.

She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Eagles Lodge, both of Celina. Jody enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 12th at The Lord's Church, corner of Main & Anthony Streets in Celina, with Pastor Randy Christian officiating. There will be no Visitation.

Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois.
