James E. Emans, age 62, of Celina,
passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011
at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
Jim was born on January 11, 1949 in Celina to Ellsworth & Doris
(Winter) Emans. His mother is deceased, and his father survives in Celina, along with his wife, Eva (Cardosa) Emans whom he married September 11, 1969.
Also surviving are a daughter Amanda Emans of Celina and two sons, Timothy (Amanda) Emans of Botkins and Nicholas (Laura) Emans of Albuquerque, NM, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Jim is survived by two sisters: Kathleen (Jerry) Bruggeman of Celina and Mary (William) Wehrman of Sidney, and a brother-in-law, Jim (Sharon) Fischer, of Celina.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Fischer.
Jim had been employed at Mersman Tables in Celina for 15 years
and Thunderbird Products in Decatur for 20 years. He was a lifelong member of Celina First Church of God.
Private funeral services were held for the family on Friday, May 6
at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina
with Rev. Dr. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial followed the service at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
