Henry Kohnen Obituary

Henry Christopher Kohnen, age 65, a former resident of Celina, passed away at his home in Rocky Top, Tennessee, on June 24, 2024.

Born on October 7, 1958, he was a son of the late Donald and Klela (Strete) Kohnen.

Surviving are four daughters: Marie Young, Liz Kohnen, Kimberly Summers, and Ashley Kohnen. Also surviving are four brothers: Michael (Judy) Kohnen of Chesterfield, Virginia, Phil Kohnen of Edgerton, William (Marie) Kohnen of Defuniak Springs, Florida, and Joseph (Stacey) Kohnen of Defiance; four sisters: Melinda (Craig) Vaughn of Waynesville, Teresa (Tim) Wenning of Lima, M. Kathleen (Allan) Skiver of Defiance, and Rosemary Kohnen of Celina; and many nieces and nephews.

A 1978 graduate of Defiance High School, Henry had served in the United States Air Force.

Memorial Services, with full military honors, are being held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 8th, at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee.
