Helen M Parker

Helen Marie Parker, age 94, of Celina, passed away Tuesday morning, December 10, 2019, at Celina Manor.

Born August 8, 1925, in Mercer, Ohio, she was the only daughter of Russish P. & Eddythe I. (Webb) Flore.

Helen married Dale D. Parker on October 10, 1954, and he preceded her in death June 15, 1988.

She is survived by a brother, Lester Flore of Celina, sister-in-law, Pat Flore of Delphos, nieces & nephews: Deb (Fred) Roll of Greenville, Barb (Ron) Johnson of Urbana, Jim (Tracy) Flore and Jon (Janel) Flore all of Celina, and Jessica Miller of London, Ohio, and several great nieces & nephews.

Preceding Helen in death were her parents, husband, brothers: Robert (Dorothy) Flore, Ray Flore, and a sister-in-law, Sharalene Flore.

She was a 1944 graduate of Center Township High School in Neptune.

Helen retired from Goodyear in St. Marys after 25 years of service.

She was a member of Celina Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, where she served as the church historian for many years.  Helen was also a Sunday School Teacher and member of the United Methodist Women's Group. 

Helen enjoyed genealogy, and belonged to the Ohio Genealogical Society.  She was very talented at crocheting, and liked gardening and cooking.  Helen loved spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 13, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.  Pastor Richard Van Horn will officiate.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Center Township.

Calling Hours are from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Friday, December 13, at the Funeral Home.
