Harriet Lee Brookhart, age 84, of Montezuma, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on April 18, 1929 in Celina, the daughter of the late Harold J. & Ada M. (Meyer) Gray.
She married Gordon D. Brookhart on September 28, 1946, and he died July 7, 2001.
Also preceding her in death were a Daughter, Maralee, who died in infancy, and 3 Brothers: Jack, Max and Michael Gray.
Harriet is survived by her Son, Gary Brookhart of Montezuma
and 3 Grandchildren: Jordon, Casey and Aaron Brookhart, Great Granddaughter, Ava Kay Lee Martin, a Sister, Margie (Bernard) Frahm, and a Brother, Marvin Gray,
all of Celina.
A Homemaker, Harriet had also worked at Mersman Tables,
and at Motel Celina as a cleaning lady. She was a member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church
and had attended Celina Schools.
Most of all, Harriet enjoyed spending time at home with her family, collecting Fenton Glassware and working in her flower garden.
Funeral Services are 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 8th at
W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling Hours are from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 7th
and 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. on Monday at the Funeral Home.
