George F. Hut, age 80, of Celina, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
Born November 17, 1940, in Celina, he was a son of Theodore and Betty (Flight) Hut.
George and Sharon Yaney were united in marriage on August 3, 1963. Sharon survives, along with their 4 children: Stacy (Jerry) Tebbe of St. Marys, Travis (Eudonis Cox) Hut of Hayesville, North Carolina, Alana (Kermit) Hecht of St. Marys, and Daryl (Sarah) Hut of Baltimore, Ohio.
George's brother and sister, David Hut of Celina, and Mary (Joseph) Kohler of Wapakoneta, 8 grandchildren: Amanda Greve, Wesley Tebbe, Shana Hirn, Brennan Perry, Ethan Hut, Aiden Hut, Liam Hut, and Arabella Hut, as well as 4 great grandchildren, also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George retired from the Goodyear Plant in St. Marys, where he had worked for 36 years.
He was a member of the Covenant Community Church in Coldwater.
Private Funeral Services are being held for the Hut family, with Pastor Jed Francis officiating.
Burial will take place at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
