George H. Dufur

George H. Dufur, age 83, of Celina, passed away June 14, 2013 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

Born December 17, 1929 in Little Hocking, Ohio, the son of the late Edmund & Beatrix (Peckins) Dufur.

He is survived by a daughter, Trixie (Dan) Buzard of St. Henry, step-daughter, Darlene (Craig) Snavely of Celina, sister, Lois Grice of Greenville, 3 grandchildren, Matt Snavely, Jillian Snavely and Jodi (Mike) Bland, 2 great grandchildren, Everett and Josie Bland and a brother-in-law, Morris Hart of Union City.

Preceding him in death were a brother and sister, Edmund Dufur and Ruth Hart.

A U.S. Navy Veteran, he had retired from the former Mersman Furniture Factory in Celina. George was a humble man with a wonderful sense of humor.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, July 27 at Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A Luncheon will be served.
