Former Celina resident, Florence E. Moore, age 99, died in Okeechobee, Florida. Mrs. Moore had been a resident of Okeechobee for approximately the last 20 years.
Born on March 27, 1914 in Celina, Florence was the daughter of Elyjah and Rachel (Coil) Winans.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Clarence L. Brown and John Moore.
She is survived by a son, Clarence Robert Brown of Okeechobee, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A sister, Barbara Hassloch, survives in Celina.
Florence was preceded in death by a son, Billy Dean, who died in childhood and a daughter Betty. Twelve brothers and sisters are deceased.
A homemaker, Florence also worked in Celina at Mersman Tables for 9 years and at Reynolds & Reynolds for 25 years. Florence enjoyed sewing as a hobby.
Florence was a member of the Erastus United Methodist Church when she resided in the Celina area.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, June 25th, the Rev. Allan Brown officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 P.M. Tuesday, until time of services.
Donations may be made in Florence's memory to the Erastus Methodist Church.
