Esta Mae Colwell

Esta Mae Colwell, Age 92, of Mendon, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 16, 2012
at her daughter's residence in Mendon.

She was born October 3, 1919 in Yerkes, KY to Sam & Para Lee (Caldwell) Colwell.

She married Hershel Colwell on September 25, 1936 and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1997.

She is survived by her Daughter: Glenda High of Mendon, two Sons: Clayton (Pat) Colwell of Viper, KY and Kenneth (Sherrillene) Colwell of Corpus Christi, TX, six
Grandchildren, ten Great-Grandchildren and six Great-Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are two Brothers: Lowell Colwell of St. Marys and Everett (Betty) Colwell of Decatur, IN.

She was preceded in death by two Sisters: Nellie McIntyre and Nora Harris and five Brothers: Elige, Herman, Curtis, French and James Colwell.

A Great Grandson: Scott Jackson and Her Son-in-law: Ray D. High also preceded her in death.

She was a Homemaker and a Member of the New Start Church of God in Celina.

Her Hobbies were Flower and Vegetable Gardening, Crocheting and Sewing.

Funeral Services are 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 20 at the New Start Church, with Pastor John Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Calling Hours are 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday and 12 Noon - 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the New Start Church.
