Erma L. Nevergall

Erma L. Nevergall, Age 86, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. A former Mendon resident, she had resided at Roselawn Manor in Spencerville for the past few years.


Born August 16, 1926 in Lima, she was the daughter of the late Carl & Daisy Jennings.


On January 1, 1948, Erma married Homer E. Nevergall, who preceded her in death on February 11, 2001.


She is survived by 2 Children:
Steve (Kathy) Nevergall of Celina and Sandy (Steve) Houser of Mendon, 7 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, a Sister: Shirley Jacomet of Lima, and several Nieces & Nephews.


Also preceding her in death were a Daughter: Sue Nevergall, a Sister: Evelyn Jennings, a Brother & Sister-in-law: Roger & Ruth Jennings, and a Grandson: David Houser.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Mendon,
and enjoyed cooking, reading the Bible, spending time with friends, and playing bingo.


Erma was a homemaker and devoted wife. She always had a smile on her face, and loved life. She will be missed terribly by her family.


There will be No Calling Hours.
Graveside Rites will be held at Mendon Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 12. Pastor Randy Christian will officiate.
