Edward William Schulte

Edward William Schulte, Age 84, of Celina, passed away Thanksgiving morning, November 24, 2011 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

Born February 25, 1927 in Celina, he was a son of Frank & Rosa (Zumbrink) Schulte.

He married Waneta Michaels on February 7, 1953 and she survives,
along with 3 Sons: David (Melody) Schulte of Prosser, WA, Gary Schulte of Marion and Dan Schulte of Celina, 2 Daughters: Susan (Lester) Richardson of Indianapolis, IN and Donna (Herb) Wright of Howell, MI, A Sister: Roseann Wourms of Celina, 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Ed was preceded in death by:
3 Children: A Daughter, Diane, who died in 1973 and 2 Sons, Michael in 1979 and Ronald in 2006, 4 Brothers: Henry, Paul, Norbert and Vernon Schulte and 2 Sisters: Loretta Remaklus and Rita Schulte.

Retired from New Idea in Coldwater after 43 years of service, Ed had also farmed 20 acres in Center Township.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina and had attended Immaculate Conception High School. Ed was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of WWII and a member of Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 and American Legion Post #210.

Ed & Waneta enjoyed fishing and camping in Michigan and at the Conley Bottom Resort in Kentucky.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 28 at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina.

Calling Hours will be 2:00 - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, November 27 and 9:30 - 10:15 A.M. on Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will be at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
