Dorothy Virginia Marsee

Dorothy V. Marsee, age 87, of Celina, died at 2:05 P.M. at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born in Fonde, Kentucky on March 3, 1923 to the late George Washington and Elizabeth (Bryant) Marsee. She married Clarence Marsee in 1939 and he died in 1967.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Robert) Caffee of Berne, Indiana and Lois (Ronald) Felver of Celina. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild survive. Other surviving family are a brother, George (Joyce) Reed, Jr. of Pruden, Tennesee and a sister Thelma Uhrick of Detroit.

Preceding Dorothy in death are a son, Robert Lee Marsee, who died at birth, three sisters, Dallas Mobley, Virgil Grubbs and Mamie Hill and a brother, Herman Reed.

Dorothy retired from Goodyear in St. Marys after 28 years of service and was also a homemaker.

Services were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Jerry Grubbs officiating.
Burial was at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
