David Joe Williams Jr.

 David Joe Williams Jr., age 40, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.

Born December 27, 1983, in St. Marys, he was the son of David Joe Williams Sr., who survives in Lima, and Donna (Steele) Williams, who survives in Rockford.

David had been married to Amy Walker, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are his son, Joe Walker of Somerset, Kentucky, and brothers: Bobby (Amy) McDowell of Middletown and Jesse (Brandy) Williams of Coldwater. 

David was also preceded in death by a brother, Jason McDowell, and his grandparents: Vernon & Joyce Steele and Hazard & Larcenie Williams.

He had attended Celina High School, and later received his GED.

David worked as a roofer, and had also been employed at various factories in Wapakoneta.

He attended Abounding Grace Ministries, of Celina.

David enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and boating.

Friends and Family may call from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7th, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.  Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 on Wednesday, immediately following calling hours, with Pastor Randy Christian officiating.
