David C. Royse

David C. Royse, age 20, of Celina, died 10:05 A.M., June 6, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

David had been hospitalized since a drowning accident at Celina's Eastview Park pond on May 29.

He was born in St. Marys on August 13, 1991. His mother: Lori Studer (Fiance' Louie Hendricks) survives in Celina and his father: Steven Royse survives in Vandalia.

David is also survived by his maternal grandparents: Connie & Bill Liming of Oneida, TN; paternal grandmother: Mildred Royse of Vandalia and six siblings: Dustin Royse, Zack Reis and Katie Reis, all of Celina; Steven Royce Jr. of Houston, OH; Matt Royce of Indian Lake and Kristin Roark of Dayton.

A 2010 graduate of Celina High School, he was employed by Heyne Painting of Celina and a member of the Celina Baptist Temple.

David was very athletic, participating in track and football in high school. He enjoyed running, fishing and "aggravating his mom".

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, June 9th from 1 - 3:00 PM, with the Funeral Service starting at 3:00. Assistant Pastor Cliff Rice will officiate.
