Corey C. Andrew

Corey C. Andrew, age 24, of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2023, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. 

He was born February 4, 1999, in Decatur, IN.  His mother and step-father: Lisa & Jody Haller, survive in Ohio City.  

Also surviving is his fiancée, Hannah Pawelski of Rockford, daughter, Aurora Andrew, siblings: Taya (Michael) Deardoff and Angel Haller (Noah Baldwin) of Van Wert, grandparents: Pam and John Stapleton of Rockford, uncle, Aaron (Tori) Stapleton, niece and nephews: Castalia, Caspian, and Jaden, and cousins: Damon and Austin Stapleton.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Naomi Counterman.

Corey was a 2017 Parkway High School graduate and was a "Gentle Giant".   He loved everyone, especially kids, and everyone loved him. He was a jokester, and enjoyed playing with his nieces, nephews and his baby daughter, Aurora.  

Playing video games was a favorite activity.  He collected figurines of wolves.  Other activities he liked were playing basketball and going for drives.

Private Services were held for the family.
