Colleen Benefield

Colleen Benefield, age 61, of Ft. Recovery, passed away on July 29th at her residence.

She was born March 22, 1958, a daughter of the late John C. and Ruby (Bowman) Lewis.

Surviving are her husband, Terry Benefield, two children: Leslie Jones of Celina and John J. Oakleaf (Tori Mittie) of St. Henry, and five grandchildren: Desiree Oakleaf, Hannah Dresher, Riley Mittie, Ruby Oakleaf and River Oakleaf.  Also surviving is a brother, Emmanuel Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dianna Weiler.

Colleen worked at Wal-Mart in Celina for six years as a cashier and in the deli department. Her favorite pastime was reading.

A Celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
