Clora Genevra Barker, age 90, of Mendon, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2013 at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born April 1, 1922 in Van Wert County Ohio, to Carl J. & Sarah E. (McCoy) Mohler.
Clora and Charles Barker were married March 18, 1943, and he passed away on October 8, 2003.
She is survived by a Daughter: Elaine (Jerry) Steiner of Mendon, 2 Granddaughters: Holly (Andy) Smith of Celina, Ohio and Valerie (Jim) Scatena of Minneapolis, Minnesota and 5 Great Grandsons: Dalton & Logan Smith and Vincent, Dominick & Joey Scatena.
Preceding her in death were a Brother & Sister: Frank Mohler and Edith Rhodes.
Clora had attended Convoy Union High School in Convoy, Ohio. A Homemaker, she retired from the National Seal Company in Van Wert after 30 years of service, having worked in the Spring Department.
Clora liked taking pictures, crocheting, and working on plastic canvas needlepoint, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 21
at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Calling Hours will be from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 20
and 1 Hour before time of Services on Monday at the Funeral Home.
