Cleo Maxine Ponds

Cleo Maxine Ponds, age 93, died at the Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford on October 25, 2011.

Born on August 3, 1918, Cleo grew up in the Toledo area. She worked for a time in health care as a nurse's aide. In her later years she became a resident of Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford.

Cleo is survived by three children, a son, Lee Ponds and a daughter, Vivian Ponds, both of Toledo and a daughter, Deborah Henley of Cleveland. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at the Celina funeral home at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 28th. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services on Friday.
