Carolyn Sue Gilliland

Carolyn Sue Gilliland, aged 61, passed away on August 27, 2024. 

Carolyn dedicated many years of her life working as a department manager at Walmart, where she cherished her role and the camaraderie with her coworkers. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Ray Gilliland, who passed away in 2018. 

Carolyn is survived by her three sons: Donald Jr. Gilliland (married to Taryn Gilliland), Brian Gilliland (married to Lindsay Gilliland), and Douglas Gilliland; along with her sister, Cathy & John Livingston, and brothers: Johnny Sparkman and Danny Gray.

She was a devoted mother, who spent her life caring for her family, including her late husband and mother, Dorothy Gray.  Carolyn’s love and dedication extended to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Peyton, Piper, and Parker Gilliland, children of Brian; and Emma Temple and Ramona Gilliland, children of Douglas.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gray, father, Robert ‘Bob’ Gray, her sisters: Irma Trueblood and Roberta Gray, and her brother, Joey Gray.

Her life was a testament to her love for her family, and her unwavering dedication to their well-being. 

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
