Carol Humbarger Obituary
Carol J. Humbarger, age 80, of Celina, passed away Monday, June 29th, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
Born on April 24, 1940, in Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Dale Headley and Opal Kirchgassner.
Carol was married to Charles Humbarger for 45 years, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her 3 children: Pete Headley and Mary Platt, both of Churubusco, IN, and Andrew Bickel of Lima, OH, 3 grandchildren: Seth Taylor, Elizabeth Headley and Drewster Bickel, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are 4 brothers & sisters: Don ( Brenda ) Headley of Montpelier, OH, Duane ( Shar ) Kirchgassner of Churubusco, and Shirley Miller and Kay Avany, both of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kirchgassner.
Carol was a homemaker, and had worked at Huffy Manufacturing in Celina for several years.
She had attended the Salvation Army Church, and enjoyed reading and doing word searches. In her younger years, Carol enjoyed fishing.
