To Betsy's family, you have my deepest sympathy. It was always nice to run into her at the Bank. I am so happy she had time to become a veteran teacher of 22 years. She loved kids with a passion and although I knew most of the family she loved, she always lit up when working with kids. God's speed, my friend. I pray the family can find solace in her very large extended family. The earth will be a little dimmer, but Heaven will much brighter.

Betsy was a true friend. She got me involved in serving God in many ways. Our trips to Henderson Settlement in Kentucky,  we learned a lot and laughed a lot. I think that was the first time I  ever saw Betsy cold. We slept in a room that air conditioning just blew on you. The trip to Athens, Ohio I kept wondering what did you get me into, but wouldn't trade for anything. Helping Church of God clean up the park. Betsy you will definitely be missed. Love you girl fly high and I'll probably need a nudge every once and awhile.

Betsy was someone that made everyone feel like they were the most important person to her... and I mean that in a positive/genuine sense. You just can't say enough positive things about her and her impact, and you know you'll never meet another person quite like her. Every memory I look back on involves something I fondly remember and feel happy to think about. I can't name another person that I think that way about. She'll truly be missed by everyone she knew.
