Bertha McIntosh Obituary

Bertha M. McIntosh, age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at her home near Celina.

Born on April 5, 1942, in Peebles, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James & Martha (Lambert) Burton.

Bertha's husband, Utah McIntosh, preceded her in death on November 19, 2016.

Surviving are her daughters: Mary (Mike) Highley of Celina and Theresa (Rodney) Piper of St. Marys, grandsons: Adam (Ashley) Highley and Luke Highley, great-grandsons: Noah and Christopher Highley, a step-son, Mike (April) McIntosh, and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Two brothers: Eugene (Maimi) Burton and John (Mary) Burton, of Newport, Kentucky, and a brother-in-law, Marvin (Judy) McIntosh, of Celina, also survive.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Mary Hensley.

Bertha was a homemaker, and had worked at Mersman Tables and Barr's 5 & 10¢ Store in Celina.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Favorite pastimes were reading, camping, motorcycling, and gardening.

As per Bertha's wishes, no services are planned.
