Former Celina resident Antionette K. Schoch, age 89, of St. Louis, MO, passed away July 19 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born on April 4, 1922 in St. Peter, OH, Nettie was the daughter of Frank and Cecelia (Brown) Link.
She married Leon D. Schoch on June 20, 1946 and he died January 25, 2005.
Surviving are Three Children: Pam Muhlenkamp of St. Louis, Ken (Sandy) Schoch of Prescott Valley, AZ and Rick (Carla) Schoch of Columbus, OH, Six Grandchildren: Allison, Karen, Sam, Tony, Joe & Dylan and Six Great Grandchildren: Alex, Gavin, Nicholas, Addyson, Lucas & Kaley.
Preceding Nettie in death were an Infant Son, Allen Joseph Schoch, who died in 1958, and Five Siblings: Julie Ann Link and Cyrus, Victor, Ralph & Eugene Link.
Antionette was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, the Altar Rosary Society
and Knights of St. John.
She was a Hairdresser, Homemaker,
and a wonderful seamstress and gardener.
A Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23 at Immmaculate Conception Church, Celina with the Rev. Ken Schnipke officiating. A eulogy was given by Nettie's granddaughter, Allison Williams. Burial followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in St. Joe. Pallbearers were: Tony Muhlenkamp, Dylan Schoch, Sam Schoch, Jack Link, John Schoch and Kevin Williams. Visitation was held from 8:30 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the church.
Organist was Cindy Van Santvoord
and the resurrection choir provided vocals.
