Angelo Busacca Obituary

On January 2nd, 2013, Angelo Busacca held out his hand to his Heavenly Father to take his
final journey. He will never be forgotten. He has touched so many people with his kindness
and perseverance.

Angelo loved his family, his friends, his country, and adored people.

Until his final hours on this earth, Angelo continued to be an inspiration to others, and
looked forward to meeting his Lord and Saviour.

Angelo Louis Busacca, Age 68, of Mendon, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

He was born on May 27, 1944 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Basil & Salome Gebhard Busacca.

Angelo married Sara A. Jones on January 22, 1984, and she survives, along with a Daughter: Alexandria Linda Busacca and Son: Dominic Santino Busacca, both of Mendon,
and a Sister: Clara ( Jacob ) Silverman of Rockford.

Also surviving are his Mother-in-law: Mary Jane Hahn of Mendon, and Brothers & Sisters-in-law:
Tom ( Gloria ) Hahn and Chuck ( Anita ) Jones, both of New Castle, PA, Kenny ( Lorraine ) Hahn of Mesa, AZ, Stan ( Dianne ) Jones of Napa Valley, CA, Bill Hahn and Linda ( Paul ) Jaworski, both of Erie, PA, Rich Jones of Mendon
and Jackie Strama of Marathon, FL.

He had served as a Police Officer in Jersey City. From 1982-2003 he was employed at Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford. He also was a Driver for the Mercer County Veterans Service Office.

Angelo had attended Snider High School in Jersey City and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.

He was a member of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Club, the National Rifle Association and the Pi Kappa Phi Delta Sigma Honorary Chapter.

Angelo's interests were Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Scuba Diving.

Calling Hours are from 1:00 - 3:00 and 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 4th at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with the Funeral Service
immediately following at 7:00 P.M. Reverend Bruce Strine will officiate.

Military Rites will be held at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home, conducted by Celina American Legion Post #210 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5713.
