James W. Andres, 85, of Celina,
passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1928 in Coldwater,
the son of Harold David & Lillie Mae Hall Andres.
Jim married Blanche E. Kittle on January 11, 1954,
and she preceded him in death on October 1, 2001.
He is survived by a Son, John Kirk Andres of Celina,
Daughters-in-law: Jeanine L. Andres and Denise E. "Dee Dee" Andres, a Granddaughter: Trisha, and three Sisters-in-law: Edna Andres of Coldwater, and Helen Henkle and Mary Ann Kittle, both of Celina.
He was preceded in death by three Sons: an Infant Son, David Lee Andres died in 1955,
Mark Allan "Mongo" Andres, who died in 1992 and Daniel Lewis Andres, who died in 1994,
and a Brother: Philip Andres.
Jim worked at New Idea Manufacturing in Coldwater, and then retired from ITW Food Equipment Group
( formerly Hobart ) in Troy.
A graduate of Coldwater High School, Jim served in the U.S. Army for two years in the states.
A member of the Celina Flying Sportsmen, Jim's hobbies were flying model airplanes and fishing.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, Aug. 19,
at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, with military rites by Celina American Legion Post #210
and VFW Post #5713.
Calling Hours will be 1 hour prior to the Service on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
